Yes we do Holiday Parties

We love getting out and singing in our community. Thank you to the Germantown Community Center for having Crosstown perform at their holiday party on November 30th!

The Germantown Senior Center offers a variety of leisure and recreational opportunities for citizens 55+. Whether you are looking for entertainment, educational, or social opportunities, you are sure to find something of interest at their center. Visit their website for more information:

The Bucks & Crosstown for the Win!

Crosstown Harmony Chorus was honored to sing the National Anthem at Fiserv Forum for your Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday November 27th. The Milwaukee Bucks even secured a win that night against the Dallas Mavericks. GO BUCKS!

Coaching with the fabulous stage coaches!

Crosstown Harmony welcomed special guest coaches Karen Sweeters and her sister Gina Kaiser to share their knowledge and skills in barbershop during our semi-annual weekend retreat. With over 35 years in Sweet Adelines International, Karen has gone from singing "on the risers" to directing Harmony on the Sound, 15 time North Atlantic Region 1 Champions, located in Trumball, Conneticut. She's also a Certified Judge in the Expression Category and has escalated to the top level of Sweet Adelines musicianship as a Master Director. Gina Kaiser is a Visual Specialist, Choreographer and Showmanship Judge extraordinaire. Together these two lead Crosstown in a weekend of learning and fun.

Manor Park Performance was a blast!

Crosstown Harmony Chorus was delighted to be performing for the residents at Village at Manor Park this past Tuesday. What a great crowd!

VMP is a caring community committed to enriching people’s lives. They offer a full continuum of care, so you can be confident that you are receiving the right amount of care when you need it.

Whether you want to explore independent or assisted living, rehabilitation opportunities, or memory care, they invite you to see what they have to offer.

Cheering on participant's at Al's Run and Walk

Briggs & Al's Run & Walk is a Milwaukee tradition and a critical fundraiser for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. For over 40 years, thousands of people have come together to walk or run in support of a child they love, connect with their mission and celebrate the kids they serve. Crosstown Harmony Chorus was delighted we could be there cheering on the participants with songs along the route. 100% of the funds raised by participants directly support programs and services that prevent and ease the suffering of children.

It's a Festival, Not a Contest!

Members of Region 3 descended upon the Hilton Milwaukee City Center this past weekend to take part in a festival of music. In our first in-person event since 2020 participants enjoyed coaching sessions, tag singing, performances by Region 3 choruses and quartets and we honored our International Board President Joan Boutelier on her amazing leadership during these past few years. We are so thankful to be back together singing again!

Kicking up our Heels to Fundraise

Crosstown Harmony Chorus partnered with Fund2orgs to collect nearly 3000 new and used shoes. Thank you for everyone who donated

What happens to the shoes?

It’s estimated 300 million people don’t own shoes. Our shoe drive fundraiser will help provide inventory to over 4,000 micro-entrepreneurs who sell the shoes to support their families. In turn, they help themselves out of poverty with a hand up, not a handout.

Coaching with the one and only Jim Arns

On Monday, August 8th we had the honor of learning from Master Director 700 Jim Arns!

Jim Arns has directed the Melodeers Chorus since 1988, and is one of an elite group of directors to receive the Master Director 700, created in 2009 by Sweet Adelines International to honor musical directors whose choruses score 700 points or more (out of a possible 800) in Regional Competitions.

Singing Bartenders for a Day!

Crosstown Harmony Chorus members and friends once again served up drinks at the Ozaukee County Fair. Since 1859, the Ozaukee County Fair has been offering residents and visitors great traditional fair entertainment such as live music, truck & tractor pulls, a full midway, fireworks, demolition derbies, horse shows, contests, 4-H and livestock exhibitions & judging, kids entertainment and more! We hope to see you there next year!
