Cheering on participant's at Al's Run and Walk

Briggs & Al's Run & Walk is a Milwaukee tradition and a critical fundraiser for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. For over 40 years, thousands of people have come together to walk or run in support of a child they love, connect with their mission and celebrate the kids they serve. Crosstown Harmony Chorus was delighted we could be there cheering on the participants with songs along the route. 100% of the funds raised by participants directly support programs and services that prevent and ease the suffering of children.

It's a Festival, Not a Contest!

Members of Region 3 descended upon the Hilton Milwaukee City Center this past weekend to take part in a festival of music. In our first in-person event since 2020 participants enjoyed coaching sessions, tag singing, performances by Region 3 choruses and quartets and we honored our International Board President Joan Boutelier on her amazing leadership during these past few years. We are so thankful to be back together singing again!

Kicking up our Heels to Fundraise

Crosstown Harmony Chorus partnered with Fund2orgs to collect nearly 3000 new and used shoes. Thank you for everyone who donated

What happens to the shoes?

It’s estimated 300 million people don’t own shoes. Our shoe drive fundraiser will help provide inventory to over 4,000 micro-entrepreneurs who sell the shoes to support their families. In turn, they help themselves out of poverty with a hand up, not a handout.

Coaching with the one and only Jim Arns

On Monday, August 8th we had the honor of learning from Master Director 700 Jim Arns!

Jim Arns has directed the Melodeers Chorus since 1988, and is one of an elite group of directors to receive the Master Director 700, created in 2009 by Sweet Adelines International to honor musical directors whose choruses score 700 points or more (out of a possible 800) in Regional Competitions.

Singing Bartenders for a Day!

Crosstown Harmony Chorus members and friends once again served up drinks at the Ozaukee County Fair. Since 1859, the Ozaukee County Fair has been offering residents and visitors great traditional fair entertainment such as live music, truck & tractor pulls, a full midway, fireworks, demolition derbies, horse shows, contests, 4-H and livestock exhibitions & judging, kids entertainment and more! We hope to see you there next year!

Delighting the Residents of Sacred Heart

Crosstown Harmony Chorus was delighted to perform for the residents of Sacred Heart at Monastery Lake with some toe tapping, chord ringing barbershop music this past Monday for their summer concert series. We hope to be back soon!

Celebrating a year of accomplishments

This Monday we had a great celebration to honor our outgoing Admin Team, install our new Admin Team, recognize our Milestone Members and celebrate April and May Birthdays. The end of and beginning of a great year!

Special Thanks to Kim Dorfner and Westallion Brewing Company for their generous hospitality!

Crosstown Harmony earns 3rd place medal!

Sweet Adelines across Region 3 gathered in front of their televisions and computers to watch the 2022 barbershop contest. Crosstown members help a watch party to cheer on our competing quartets and were thrilled when the panel announced Crosstown as 3rd place winners. We look forward to next year when we all can compete together in person!

Crosstown Goes to Contest

Lights, camera, action, CONVENTION!

Women from all over Region 3 submitted videos of their best performance package in an all out barbershop battle for the champion title. Airing of the competition and winners will be announced on Saturday May 21. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us and watch the taping. We look forward to hearing all the contestants at this years competition!

Let's hear it for your Milwaukee Admirals!

Crosstown Harmony Chorus had the honor of performing our National Anthem prior to the action packed fun of the Milwaukee Admirals game. We were astounded at how big our voices sounded in the large arena and can't wait to come back again!
