Rooting on the Admirals at their Home Opener!

Saturday, October 18th was Crosstown Harmony Night at the HOME OPENER for the Milwaukee Admirals!  The energy in the arena was electric and the Admirals after trailing for some time rallied in the 3rd period to win the game!

Celebrating 40years with MARC

Epsilon Sigma Alpha is a service organization that focuses on Good Friends, Good Works, and Good Times. They support causes, engage in service projects, and create opportunities. Their Midwest Area Regional Council's Convention was held on October in Milwaukee. It was the 40th Anniversary of MARC, and Crosstown Harmony Chorus was there to help them celebrate. Thank you for being such a gracious and fun audience! To learn more about Epsilon Sigma Alpha visit their website at https://www.epsilonsigmaalpha.org/Homepage

High Point Residence Performance

Crosstown Harmony Chorus was invited to entertain the residents of High Point Residence in Germantown. Among the residents was our long time member and friend Marlene. It was truly special for all of us to sing for her and her friends.

High Point Residence Germantown South offers a welcoming and supportive environment for seniors seeking a balance between independence and the need for assistance. Their community is designed to meet the unique needs of every resident, ensuring a comfortable and enriching lifestyle. Barbershop Magic

This year's Fall Education Event was "Barbershop Magic", presented by Carol Thompson, RMT Education Coordinator, and special guest Kim Newcomb! Kim is a voice teacher, coach and learning track producer, and is the baritone in the 2023 International Champion quartet, The Ladies! It's these type of educational opportunities that help all of us to become better singers.

Slinging Drinks at the Fair

Crosstown Harmony Chorus members and friends once again were serving up drinks at the Ozaukee County Fair. Since 1859, the Ozaukee County Fair has been offering residents and visitors great traditional fair entertainment such as live music, truck & tractor pulls, a full midway, fireworks, demolition derbies, horse shows, contests, 4-H and livestock exhibitions & judging, kids entertainment and more! Thank you to everyone who stopped to support us.

Barbershop and Baseball

We had the privilege of singing the National Anthem at the Lakeshore Chinooks baseball game on July 26. The Lakeshore Chinooks is a college-level baseball team in the Northwoods League. Many of their alumni have gone on to play in Major League Baseball, including Owen Miller of our Milwaukee Brewers! It was a fun evening cheering on these elite collegiate athletes!

Crosstown Rummage

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Crosstown rummage sale! Your purchases help mitigate the cost to Crosstown members so we can keep bringing you great Barbershop music for years to come.

Honoring our Veterans

A small group from Crosstown Harmony Chorus, directed by Kari Midtbo Schwartz, was thrilled to be singing for an Honor Flight at Mitchell International Airport. Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, Inc. honors veterans with a life-changing trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials and experience a day of honor and thanks. We were honored to be apart of their journey.
