Crosstown Harmony Chorus was featured in the latest issue of Elm Grove Living magazine! Elm Grove is the village in which we attend rehearsals. The article was written by our own Christine Krause. Great job, Christine!
We just love to sing out in the community. Ovation Chai Point Senior Living invited Crosstown to put on a special performance for its residents. It was an hour of harmonies, smiles and sing-a-longs. It was a great show!

Crosstown Harmony Chorus members and friends once again served up drinks at the Ozaukee County Fair July 31 through August 4. Since 1859, the Ozaukee County Fair has been offering residents and visitors great traditional fair entertainment such as live music, truck & tractor pulls, a full midway, fireworks, demolition derbies, horse shows, contests, 4-H and livestock exhibitions & judging, kids entertainment and more! We hope to see you there next year!
On Monday, July 15th we had the honor of learning from Master Director 700 Jim Arns!
Jim Arns has directed the Melodeers Chorus since 1988, and is one of an elite group of directors to receive the Master Director 700, created in 2009 by Sweet Adelines International to honor musical directors whose choruses score 700 points or more (out of a possible 800) in Regional Competitions.
Crosstown Harmony Chorus was excited to invite the ChoralAires co-directors, Bonnie Fedyski and Amy Brinkman to rehearsal this past Thursday for a special coaching session. These two sisters have sung together since childhood and bring more than 50 years of experience to their leadership roles. Musical excellence and boundless energy make rehearsals, competitions, and performances an exhilarating experience. Amy and Bonnie bring out the best in every individual and challenge everyone to contribute personally and musically to the synergy of a chorus.
All our hard work paid off at this years Sweet Adelines Region 3 Convention & Competition with Crosstown Harmony Chorus earning not one, but two medals! Placing 3rd in the AA Division and 4th in the overall standings.
Our very own Cool Beans quartet placed 5th at the Sweet Adelines Region 3 Convention & Competition. We couldn't be prouder of these amazing women for their hard work and dedication to our craft!
Throughout the year Crosstown will host many fundraisers to help with the costs associated with our hobby. One such fundraiser is selling pizzas. These delicious pies are available in the spring and the fall. We have a blast making them! Be sure to reach out to us if you're interested in placing an order.
Crosstown Harmony once again welcomed special guest coaches Karen Sweeters and her sister Gina Kaiser to share their knowledge and skills in barbershop during our semi-annual weekend retreat. With over 35 years in Sweet Adelines International, Karen has gone from singing "on the risers" to directing Harmony on the Sound, 15 time North Atlantic Region 1 Champions, located in Trumball, Conneticut. She's also a Certified Judge in the Expression Category and has escalated to the top level of Sweet Adelines musicianship as a Master Director. Gina Kaiser is a Visual Specialist, Choreographer and Showmanship Judge extraordinaire. Together these two lead Crosstown in a weekend of learning and fun.
