Meet our 2024 Woman Of Note

The Women of Note award is given to one member of each chorus each year who rises above and beyond at the chorus level in Region 3.

Our newest Woman of Note has been with Crosstown Harmony Chorus since she joined Sweet Adelines in 1997 and has been an important asset since!

If we need someone to transport our signs to a performance, she’s there!
If we need someone to be in a pick-up quartet for Valentine’s Day, she’s there!
If we need someone to fill in some shifts at the Ozaukee Fair, she’s there!
If we need contributions to fund-raisers or outside activities, she’s there!

Harmony Night with the Admirals

Saturday, December 30 was Crosstown Harmony Night at the Milwaukee Admirals game.  We sang the National Anthem before an excited crowd and the Admirals earned the win in overtime!

Lunch and Music

Crosstown Harmony Chorus prepared a delightful selection of holiday music to sing at St. Roberts Bellarmine Catholic Church's bi-monthly luncheon. It's always extra special when we get to perform Christmas music in places of worship. Thank you for being such a great crowd.

Holiday Party at Aurora

Crosstown Harmony Chorus brought their musical talents to the Aurora Grafton clinic for their Bariatric Holiday Party. A unique healing environment in the heart of Grafton. As the only ‘green’ medical center in Wisconsin, this facility was designed with your health and the environment in mind. You’ll find an extraordinary team of doctors, nurses and caregivers, along with exceptional amenities at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. Brrringing the Carols to Burlington

Crosstown Harmony brought lots of Christmas cheer to the Burlington Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting Ceremony Friday, December 1st.

This year the Christmas Tree Lighting in Wehmhoff Square Park took place before the Christmas Parade after which you could find Crosstown Harmony caroling the streets starting the parade to get everyone in a festive mood.

Crosstown and your Milwaukee Bucks

Crosstown Harmony Chorus was honored to sing the National Anthem at Fiserv Forum as The Milwaukee Bucks took on the Portland Trail Blazers. This was our second invitation and we hope to be back again soon!

Retreat Weekend Fun

Crosstown Harmony welcomed special guest coaches Karen Sweeters and her sister Gina Kaiser to share their knowledge and skills in barbershop during our semi-annual weekend retreat.

With over 35 years in Sweet Adelines International, Karen has gone from singing "on the risers" to directing Harmony on the Sound, 15 time North Atlantic Region 1 Champions, located in Trumball, Conneticut. She's also a Certified Judge in the Expression Category and has escalated to the top level of Sweet Adelines musicianship as a Master Director.

Amazing the Amazing Grays

The Amazing Gray's Social Club Luncheon's is a ministry partnership with North Cape Lutheran Church as an outreach to the senior citizens in the community. Monthly events include entertainment, informational speakers and nutritious, homemade meals. Crosstown Harmony was delighted to be invited to entertain this group! We love how engaging this crowd always is and the delicious meal afterwards too. Thank you to all our donors!

Thank you to everyone who cleaned out your closets, basements, attics and garages to donate to our FUNdrive. After two months of collecting, a few hours of sorting and a 3 hour road trip, we delivered 5000lbs. of clothes, books and household goods to Savers in Crystal Lake, IL. A very very special thank you to the great guys at Camo Crew and their fearless leader, Andy Weins for donating their truck and time!

We packed our bags, lathered on the sunscreen, spritzed the bug spray and you all came with us to camp! Thank you to everyone who came out to see our performance. We had such a fun time, we hope you did too. Special thanks to our quartets Nutz4Notes, To The Max & Cool Beans, to our emcee Andy Vitrano, to our special guests The Ukeladies, to the stage crew and all our friends and family who helped put this show together. We couldn't do it without your support!
