Fundraising at the Ozaukee County Fair

Crosstown Harmony Chorus members and friends once again were serving up drinks at the Ozaukee County Fair. Since 1859, the Ozaukee County Fair has been offering residents and visitors great traditional fair entertainment such as live music, truck & tractor pulls, a full midway, fireworks, demolition derbies, horse shows, contests, 4-H and livestock exhibitions & judging, kids entertainment and more! Thanks to all that came out to grab a drink from us, tipped generously and enjoyed the fair!

Chinooks vs. Mallards

We had the privilege of singing the National Anthem at the Lakeshore Chinooks baseball game on Saturday, June 29th. The Lakeshore Chinooks is a college-level baseball team in the Northwoods League. Many of their alumni have gone on to play in Major League Baseball, including Owen Miller of our Milwaukee Brewers!  This game was against the Madison Mallards. It was a fun evening cheering on these elite collegiate athletes!

Lions and tigers and Baseball? Oh My!

Crosstown Harmony Chorus sang the National Anthem for the Lake Country DockHounds this past Friday. And in honor of the 85th anniversary of the Wizard of Oz, the team was called the Flying Monkeys for the weekend. It was a great game, we look forward to returning again in the future.

Sisters in Song

Crosstown Harmony Chorus is excited to be coached by co-directors of the Choral-Aires Chorus, Bonnie Fedyski and Amy Brinkman. They are sisters who have sung together since childhood and bring more than 50 years of experience to their leadership roles. Musical excellence and boundless energy make rehearsals, competitions, and performances an exhilarating experience. Amy and Bonnie bring out the best in every individual and challenge everyone to contribute personally and musically to the synergy of the chorus.

It's the Western Conference Finals

The Admirals made it to the WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS and Crosstown was there to sing the National Anthem and cheer on the team. We were honored to be asked to be apart of a terrific season!

Harmony at the Admirals Game

After riding the high of singing at Regional Competition, Crosstown was invited to sing the National Anthem for the Milwaukee Admirals Play-Off Game. The crowd was electric, the game very exciting, and the Admirals pulled out a win keeping their playoff dreams alive. Thank you to everyone who came out to support Crosstown and the Admirals!

Crosstown Brings Home the Trophy!

Our hearts are full from our awesome Region 3 Sweet Adelines Convention and Competition. Crosstown Harmony Chorus placed FIRST in their division and 5th in the overall competition. And our very own Cool Beans took home the Most Improved Quartet award! Thank you to all our supporters and congratulations to all the choruses and quartets who crossed the stage this past weekend.

Send Off-Party

Crosstown supporters flocked to our rehearsal space Monday night to get a preview of the contest packages for Crosstown Harmony Chorus and Cool Beans quartet. We also introduced our audience to our new Assistant Director Linda Krueger with a few just for fun songs. The evening was capped off with refreshments and mingling. Thank you to everyone who came out to support CTH!

Gearing up for Competition

Crosstown Harmony welcomed special guest coaches Karen Sweeters and her sister Gina Kaiser to share their knowledge and skills in barbershop during our semi-annual weekend retreat.

With over 35 years in Sweet Adelines International, Karen has gone from singing "on the risers" to directing Harmony on the Sound, 15 time North Atlantic Region 1 Champions, located in Trumball, Conneticut. She's also a Certified Judge in the Expression Category and has escalated to the top level of Sweet Adelines musicianship as a Master Director.

Singing Valentine's

To us, there is no better gift than music. That's why we spend our Valentine's Day delivering Singing Valentines throughout the SE WI area. The smiles, the tears, and the joy it brings to the recipients is moving. Consider buying a Singing Valentine for your loved one next year!
