Caroling at the West Allis Christkindlmarkt

What a blast it was performing at the 2nd annual West Allis Christkindlmarkt. A special thank you to the West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shop for the invite!

Sponsored by the City of West Allis and Eat West Allis, Christkindlmarkt brings specialty food retailers and artisan crafters from around Wisconsin to West Allis for an unforgettable night of outdoor holiday shopping. There was live music, great food, wine from Corvina Wine Co. and brews from Westallion Brewing Co. It certainly put us in the holiday spirit. Be sure to come out next year!

Crosstown Goes to Hollywood

Crosstown's newest show, Crosstown Goes to Hollywood, was a great success. The crowd loved our musical review featuring songs from the movies! Following the performance was the Afterglow, featuring Easy Days men's quartet. Easy Days and all our quartets made it a perfect ending to a great day of music. Thank you to everyone who came out to see the show!

Chorus Retreat, a Weekend of FUN!

Crosstown Harmony welcomed special guest coach Karen Sweeters to share her knowledge and skills in barbershop during our semi-annual weekend retreat. With over 35 years in Sweet Adelines International, Karen has gone from singing "on the risers" to directing Harmony on the Sound, 15 time North Atlantic Region 1 Champions, located in Trumball, Conneticut. She's also a Certified Judge in the Expression Category and has escalated to the top level of Sweet Adelines musicianship as a Master Director. It was an amazing weekend of learning and fun.

Sharing Barbershop with the younger generation

A small group of Crosstown members were invited to the Barack Obama School of Career and Technical Education to sing for students in kindergarten all the way to high school. We just love sharing this art form with people who have likely never heard it before. For us music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything. We hope we inspired more than a few minds with our performances today. Thank you for inviting us to your school!

Harmonizing at the Brookfield Senior Center

Crosstown Harmony enjoyed performing at the Brookfield Senior Center for an after lunch performance. The Brookfield Senior Community Center offers a variety of leisure and recreational opportunities to all area senior citizens. Whether you’re looking for entertainment, educational or social opportunities, you’re sure to find something of interest at the Center. Check out their website for more information https://www.ci.brookfield.wi.us/101/Senior-Center

We hope to be invited back again soon!

Cheering on the participants at Brigg's & Al's Run/Walk

Briggs & Al's Run & Walk is a Milwaukee tradition and a critical fundraiser for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. For over 40 years, thousands of people have come together to walk or run in support of a child they love, connect with their mission and celebrate the kids they serve. Crosstown Harmony Chorus was delighted to be there cheering on the participants with songs along the route. 100% of the funds raised by participants directly support programs and services that prevent and ease the suffering of children.
