Region 3 is excited to announce Kim Wonders will be this years special guest speaker at Region 3's Fall school.

Kim has a B.S. in Music Education, and Masters in Education in Administration and Supervision. She was a high school choral director for 31 years. Her choirs performed not only in Middle Tennessee for various civic and community organizations, but also performed in Chicago,  Washington D.C., Boston, Toronto Ontario Canada, New Orleans, Cleveland Ohio, and at Carnegie Hall in New York City four times.
Kim has been an active member of Metro Nashville Chorus since 1979.  She became chorus director in 1988. The chorus earned the right to compete in the Sweet Adelines International Harmony Classic in 2001, 2002, 2006, 2008, and 2011.  In 2006, they were named International Division A Chorus Champions. In 2008 they won Division AA and are the only chorus to have one both divisions. Metro Nashville was also the 2012 Division AA Chorus Champions. They are a consistent competitor at International, in 2012 they placed 12th, 2014 they placed 7th and in 2016 they placed 11th. They have won the Harmony Achievement Award three times. 
Kim has served on the regional Faculty in Region 23 since 1983 and the Region 4 Faculty since 2013. She has also served in the capacity of Education Coordinator, Directors’ Coordinator, YWIH Coordinator and Director of Musical Activities over the years. Kim has been a member of the International Faculty since 2013.
